Kim Cardwell

Kim Cardwell graduated from Kilgore College with an Associates of Arts degree and from the University of North Texas with a BA in Dance. She was a Kilgore College Rangerette 1983-1985. She served as the Captain of the Kilgore College Rangerettes and head Swingster. Kim has been a dance educator in the public-school arena since 1989. She served as a Dance/Drill Team Director for 32 years. Kim has led her teams to regional and national championships. In 2000 Kim was awarded Director of the Year for the Texas Dance Educator Association. Kim continues to extend her dance career through serving as a dance consultant and adjudicator in the dance industry. She judges and serves as a clinician for TDEA DTAC. Kim is on the board of directors for Kilgore College Rangerettes Foundation. Also, she has been a sales representative for Leapin’ Leotards since 2003. Kim married her husband, Chris in 1992. Together they have two beautiful girls, Rebecca and Brelyn. Their newest pride and joy is Hudson, their first grandson!

Alice Dack

Alice is the director of the Marcus High School Marquettes in Flower Mound, TX. The Marquettes performed in the halftime of Super Bowl XLV with the Black Eyed Peas; as featured performers for NYC's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, the Dallas Mavericks and TETA's State Convention; won numerous contest awards including Best Overall Technique, Precision, Performance, Winners Circle, Regional & State titles, Top 20 in the State - Team Kick and Novelty. Alice was the choreographer for the Finale of the Thanksgiving Parade in Chicago and several Rangerette Revels. Alice has multiple students dancing post-graduation including 32 Kilgore College Rangerettes, Captains of the OU Pom Squad and Aggie Dance Team, members of the LSU Tiger Girls, UT Pom Squad, Texas Tech Pom Squad, Apache Belles, Blinn Dance Team, McLennan Dance Team, DBU Patriettes, TVCC Cardettes, UT Dance Team and a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. She is a proud member of the Kilgore Rangerettes Forever Foundation Board of Directors, was selected to host the elite Tribe 99 National Combine in 2026 & 2027, a founding member of the TDEA Assessment Rubric Creation Committee and honored as Texas Dance Educators Association Director of the Year Semi-Finalist in 2017, 2019, 2021, 2025, 2027 and Director of the Year Finalist in 2017, 2019, 2021, and 2025.

Alyssa Evans

Alyssa is a DFW native who has been dancing since the age of three, growing from a competitive dancer and student teacher to an instructor and choreographer. Her love of dance was passed down from her mom and aunt, and dance continues to be something that connects their family today. Alyssa graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Music in Musical Theatre and a Minor in Dance. Her professional performance credits include West Side Story with Casa Mañana, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Beautiful: The Carole King Musical with Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma, and Anything Goes with Granbury Theatre Company. In addition to performing, Alyssa teaches and choreographs throughout the DFW area, working with dancers at the studio level as well as high school theatre, choir, and show choir programs. She loves helping young dancers grow as both artists and performers and is proud to continue her family’s legacy in dance.

Summyr Whaley

Summyr Whaley was a Radio City Rockette for 6 years and has been seen on Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, Oprah, and most notably on Netflix and NBC for The 75th Celebration of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. She was a lead dancer and Miss Utah in the major motion picture Miss Congeniality, starring Sandra Bullock and Michael Cain. Summyr was Iris Kelly on the European tour of Fame the Musical, and was a back-up dancer for the Greek pop-star, Nikos Vertis, in Athens Greece. Summyr was in the regional production of Annie Get Your Gun at Fireside Theatre and has been in numerous industrials in Texas, L.A. and NYC. She graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Fine Art in Dance. Summyr is also a proud alumnus of the jazz program at Jacob’s Pillow under the direction of Chet Walker. She has been a regional and national judge for major dance competition companies for many years and has been a teacher/choreographer for the past 25 years. Most notably Summyr has had the privilege of choreographing for the World Famous Kilgore College Rangerettes Christmas show and Revels, as well as choreographing for the gala at Texas Dance Education Association Convention (TDEA). She is the owner and director of The Whaley Conservatory, a dance studio located in Southlake, Texas. Summyr’s choreography has also been seen at Radio City Music Hall for the pre-show of The Radio City Rockettes Christmas Spectacular. Summyr is brought in to teach and choreograph for colleges, dance studios, high school drill teams, dance camps/intensives, and conventions in Texas where she currently resides with her husband, Nathan, and 3 children Beck, Bodie and Bella! She is thrilled to be able to work closely with dancers to build confidence in themselves while reaching for excellence in dance technique and performance!

Every effort will be made to give you your first-day / first-time request based on a first come – first served basis. Register as quickly as possible as dates and times fill rapidly. 

The entry form includes a place to leave a note with any particular issues you need me to know when scheduling. I’ll do everything possible to help!

Please collect the release forms below from everyone attending (including chaperones) and bring them with you to check in on the day of the festival.

Ensemble Session Fee Invoice

$100 per 30-min. ensemble session.

1-3 Dances = $100 / 30-min time slot

4-6 Dances = $200 / 60-min time slot

7-9 Dances = $300 / 90-min time slot

Final payment must be made on your day. No exceptions please.

If you do not make your final payment before your festival, please bring your final check to the music festival on your performance date.  If your check must be mailed ahead of time – it should be in the US postal service at least 3 weeks before your performance.

The dates below are selected on a first-come first-served basis. We have performance times as early as 9 am, but the park does not open until 10 am.
Performance times are scheduled on a first come first served basis. Tell us what time you like, your travel limitations, what's too early etc. We'll get you as close to your preferred time as we can.

What now?

Approximately 2 weeks prior to your festival, you will receive a form requesting your exact numbers. This form is due no later than 7 days prior to your performance date. You are held financially responsible for the number of catered meals only given at this time.

You will be receiving more information once you submit. Please remember, $100 ensemble fees are due 2 months from your entry date. If you do not immediately receive an email confirming your entry submission, please try entering again using a different browser. (i.e. Edge, Chrome, Safari, etc.)
