Will each ensemble perform all of their dances during their assigned time slot?
Each 30-minute ensemble session allows for 1–3 pieces and costs $100. The session includes approximately:
10 minutes for warm-up/spacing
10 minutes to perform
10 minutes for oral feedback
If you have more than 3 pieces, you may register for an additional 30-minute session.
For example, 4–6 dances would require two ensemble sessions, for a total of $200 in ensemble fees.
What fees are associated with the festival?
$100 per 30-minute ensemble session
$39 per dancer
$31 per parent/family/friend spectator
$12 per person for an optional catered meal

Will dressing rooms be provided for costume changes?
There are restrooms near the theatre, but we encourage keeping things simple. Since the festival is at a waterpark, costumes and makeup are not expected or required. Dancers may wear all black, dance pants and a company T-shirt, or similar attire. Costumes and makeup will not be part of the judging criteria.
If we have both middle and high school programs, do we pay one or two ensemble fees?
If the programs have different dancers, each group will need its own ensemble session fee.
Is there space for dancers to cross backstage?
The judge will be on the stage, while dancers will perform on the floor to maximize space. The dancer area will be approximately 32′ wide × 24′ deep within a 40′ × 30′ floor. There will be space on the sides for entrances, exits and crossovers, which will be visible to the judge. There are no curtains.
Is the $31 spectator fee for friends and family?
Yes. The $31 admission includes access to the performance and entrance to the Epic Waters indoor waterpark.
What type of floor will dancers perform on?
The floor is smooth concrete, so appropriate footwear is important for dancer safety. If preferred, we can arrange for dancers to perform on the stage, which is approximately 32′ wide × 16′ deep.
Who can watch the ensemble session?
Your parents, family members and friends who have paid in advance may watch from the balcony seating area.
Will a speaker and phone hookup be provided?
Yes.
Do we submit music ahead of time?
No. Please bring your music with you on a bluetooth device (computer or phone)
